* The Lineal Boxing Champion monthly ratings are produced by an international panel of 11 boxing analysts. Boxers are ranked according to ability and accomplishments in their respective weight classes. Fighters may be removed if they have been inactive for over 18 months and still have no fights scheduled.
Atomweight
Yuko Kuriki moves to #2 following her rematch victory over Suzuki last month. Bytyqi, who defeated Elizabeth Corzo, on April 15, climbs to #4. Suzuki drops to #5.
Junior Featherweight
Segolene Lefebvre moves to the #1 spot following her unanimous decision victory over Debora Dionicius on April 29th, pushing Rivas and Mercado each down a place.
Lightweight
Melissa St. Vil exits due to inactivity at the weight. Mikaela Mayer enters at #5 following her victory over Lucy Wildheart April 15. Bo Mi Re Shin enters at #4 – her last fight being a unanimous decision victory over Diana Rodriguez (16-2-1) in February this year.
Junior Welterweight
Sandy Ryan exits the 140lb ratings following her April 22 WBO title win at welterweight – Ryan appears to be targeting further fights at 147lb. Victoria Bustos exits, having had two fights this year, both of which have been sub-135lb – the most recent, on April 28, was a junior lightweight contest. Kali Reis exits due to inactivity. Karla Zamora’s March TKO of Jessica Camara results in her entering the ratings at #2. Camara exits. Magali Rodriguez enters at #3. Belgium’s 19-0, Oshin Derieuw, enters at #4. After having one comeback fight (at junior welterweight) since having a baby, Christina Linardatou, was due to fight Miakaela Mayer at lightweight last month, however, the fight was scrapped at the last minute due to medical reasons – Linardatou enters our ratings at #5.
Welterweight
Sandy Ryan’s wide 10-round decision victory over Marie Houle (previously rated at #3) is the best recent win among the leading welterweight contenders, and with the experienced McCarter and Habazin being largely inactive, it is enough to move her to the #1 contender spot. Dee Allen exits.
