* The Lineal Boxing Champion monthly ratings are produced by an international panel of 10 boxing analysts. Boxers are ranked according to ability and accomplishments in their respective weight classes. Fighters may be removed if they have been inactive for over 18 months and still have no fights scheduled.
Junior Flyweight
Evelin Bermudez’s unanimous decision win over Tania Enriquez on March 10th, moves her to #1 in the ratings.
Junior Middleweight
Marie Eve Dicaire’s retirement announcement means Hermans and Spencer each move up a place, creating space for Patricia Berghult to renter at #5.
Heavyweight
Hanna Gabriels was allowed extra time to stay in our ratings due to her August 13 2022 fight (Vs Angie Rocha) getting postponed and then cancelled, but now it’s been two years since she had a fight, therefore Gabriels exits the ratings.
Lani Daniels moves to #1, following her unanimous decision over Sequita Hemingway on March 10 – Daniels’ only two losses came several years ago, to former Lineal Heavyweight Champion, Geovana Peres. Hemingway, exits.
Oxandia Castillo – a former junior welterweight - has not fought for over a year, and that was only a four rounder against 7-8-3, Mery Rancier – prior to this, Oxandia hasn’t beaten anyone with a win on their record since 2016. Castillo drops to #4.
Unbeaten American, Raquel Miller, 13-0, enters the ratimgs at #2 following her first-round KO of Angie Rocha on March 10th – for this bout, both women weighed in at 185lb. Miller has previously been ranked in both our junior middleweight and middleweight ratings.
Alrie Meleisea moves to #3 – the New Zealander deserves credit for being a genuine heavyweight, having had all eight of her bouts at heavyweight, and having fought recently; an 8-round points win over Sequita Hemingway, in December 2022.
Razel Mohammed, enters at #5.
Former heavyweight #1, Danielle Perkins, is due to fight on April 27th.
Lani Daniels is scheduled to fight Alrie Meleisea on May 27th.
