Women's Monthly Rankings: August 3rd 2022

UPDATES

* The Lineal Boxing Champion monthly ratings are produced by an international panel of 10 boxing analysts. Boxers are ranked according to ability and accomplishments in their respective weight classes.

Junior Flyweight

Kim Clavel, who had been hovering just outside of our top 5, widely outscored #5 ranked, Yesenia Gomez, to win the WBC title. This dominating win moves Clavel to #2 in the ratings, behind Seneisa Estrada. Plata drops to #3 and Bermudez overtakes Tenkai, following her third victory of the year. Gomez exits the ratings.

Light Heavyweight

Between 2020 – 2021, BoxRec ranked female boxers at Light Heavyweight - the website has now stopped and once again has Super Middleweight and Heavyweight as the two heaviest divisions in women’s boxing.

LinealBoxingChampion.com has never recognised a Light Heavyweight division in women’s boxing.
