July Updates

Atomweight

Saemi Hanagata exits due to inactivity. Eri Matsuda re-enters the ratings, at #5.

Strawweight

Anabel Ortiz’, whose last fight was at 112lbs, exits due to inactivity at strawweight. Katia Gutierrez enters at #5.

Flyweight

Jacqueline Calvo defeated Maria Salinas via unanimous decision on June 4, and so takes her place at #5. Salinas exits the ratings.

Junior Bantamweight

Guadlupe Martinez Guzman exits due to inactivity, having not fought since her points loss to Lourdes Juarez in December 2020. Lujan, Fernandez and Chavez each move up one place. Tamao Ozawa enters at #5.

Bantamweight

Unbeaten, Melissa Oddessa Parker enters at #5 following her points victory over Mikenna Tansley on June 17. Roman, who lost to Parker in a junior featherweight bout in 2021, exits the ratings.

Junior Featherweight

The experienced Mayerlin Rivas returned to action on June 10 with a third round TKO of Karina Fernandez – Karina had never previously been stopped despite having fought the likes of Mercado, Nava and Lourdes Juarez. Rivas’ impressive win puts her back in the ratings, at #2, and pushes Mercado, Lefebvre and Johnson each down a spot.

Welterweight

Oshin Derieuw and Victoria Bustos exit, as they appear to be remaining at junior welterweight. Piatlowska moves to #3, although may soon exit the ratings due to inactivity. Marie Houle and Summer Lynn enter at #4 and #5 respectively.

Junior Middleweight

Mary Spencer, who KO’d Chris Namus in one round on June 23, enters at #5, pushing Chevelle Hallback out of the ratings.

Super Middleweight

Alicia Napoleon, having not fought since January 2020, and still with no fight scheduled, exits the ratings. Turunen rises to #4 and Diana Castro enters at #5.
